About Joseph & Lieb Limited
Joseph & Lieb is the mother house behind Lee’s Food Mart and Island Spice Food Truck, proudly serving the Edmonton community with heart, culture, and purpose.
Founded on the belief that local businesses should do more than sell products, Joseph & Lieb exists to build community, support wellbeing, and create meaningful opportunities—especially for youth and seniors. Everything we do is rooted in service, dignity, and connection.
2025
Joseph & Lieb was founded by an extraordinary intergenerational team: Marshall Jr., a 17-year-old entrepreneur, and his mother, Dr. Glynnis Lieb. Together, they combined youthful vision with lived experience and leadership to create a business that reflects both ambition and compassion.
From day one, the goal was clear: to build a company that invests back into the people it serves.
What We Do
Through Lee’s Food Mart, we provide everyday essentials with exceptional customer service in a clean, welcoming, and community-centered environment.
Through Island Spice Food Truck, we bring bold Caribbean flavors and cultural celebration directly to the streets, events, and gatherings of Edmonton.
